Because of her passion for roller derby, Rachel redesigned a basic element of derby-related packaging to align with a common practice in derby culture: trading wheels. Currently, most derby wheels are packaged simply with disposable shrink wrap and a paper insert. Rachel designed a sturdy set-up box that can withstand being reused to exchange wheels, and continue to promote the brand. She meant the logo and colors to be audacious, because the package pops next to the other wheels on the shelf, and embodies the passion and excitement of roller derby.
